The bimetallic combination of HCS steel (high carbon steel) blade and HSS steel (high speed steel) teeth is wear and heat resistant. The three-dimensional Japanese arrangement of the sharpened teeth on the blade edge is ideal for hardwood. This tooth arrangement minimizes the generation of heat when sawing, prevents overheating and increases service life. The rounded blade tip (Curved-Tec) avoids tooth breakage and thus increases durability. The Starlock mounting system enables a quick blade change in just three seconds without touching the blade. The blade is used for plunge sawing in laminated panels or hardwood, for sawing recesses in furniture components and for trimming wooden components flush to length.
